Buster’s Paw Balm (named after our beloved Australian Cattle Dog who inspired its creation) works to effectively soothe, moisturize, heal and protect your dog's dry, cracked skin, nose and paws. This easy to use formula is also effective on minor rashes, scratches, and insect bites. Since our furry friends lick, this salve is safe for licking! A must for winter, but ideal for year-round use.
Ingredients: Grapeseed Oil, Sunflower Oil, Coconut Oil, Jojoba Oil, Vitamin E Oil
Grapeseed Oil is easily absorbed into the skin with very little oil residues left. Grapeseed oil helps in tissue regeneration as it locks in the moisture and repairs the tissue. It is also a great skin moisturizer and has astringent properties for your dog’s skin. Grapeseed oil is very rich in linoleic acid, a fatty acid which helps in maintaining the cell membranes as well as the skin. This oil is also an anti-inflammatory and has anti-oxidant properties. It also keeps the skin’s pores from clogging, thus reducing the opportunities in allowing bacteria from entering into the skin.
Sunflower Oil is a rich moisturizer, it acts as a great antioxidant and has anti-inflammatory capability. Sunflower oil has also been linked to a reduction in severity of arthritis.
Coconut Oil is a natural moisturizer, antibacterial and one of the few sources of lauric acid.
Jojoba Oil’s rich, fatty glycerides provide moisturizing relief for itchy skin.
Vitamin E Oil helps to nourish skin that is dry or cracked. Especially due to being exposed to harsh weather conditions.
Essential Oils - Pure Lavender Essential Oil is an anti-microbial with fantastic tissue restoration benefits and most dogs seem to like Lavender in small doses. We added pure Frankincense Essential Oil with the Lavender for it’s anti-inflammatory and regenerative qualities. Lastly, Tea Tree Essential Oil. Tea Tree essential oil is an incredible treatment for a dog’s skin with claims that it is an antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, anti-fungal and a natural antiseptic for skin infections. The oil immediately penetrates the outer skin layers and mixes with body oils to treat conditions such as insect bites, hot spots, minor rashes, et. Tea tree oil helps to repel mosquitos and ticks. This oil has pain-numbing properties, which may also help in soothing the inflamed areas of the skin.

I have used this balm on my golden retriever for hot spots, her dew claw that became irritated, under her front arm-pits, where she was scratching. Each time, within a couple of applications, the symptoms diminished. It smells really nice and being natural, I am not concerned that it could be harmful. I will always keep some at hand.

When my dad and I moved to Birmingham, I lost the big back yard I was used to running around in, and now I have to walk on rough pavement. My tender little pads went from being soft to rough and flaky to adjust to the hard concrete. I'm a petite little mini dachshund lady! I shouldn't have dry pads! Of course, every time I told my dad and his girlfriend this, they just looked at me and assumed I wanted food (why must they always assume that?), but I was really asking them to take me somewhere to get pampered a little. I think my dad's girlfriend picked up on the fact that my tiny little pads looked like I had been walking on hot coals for months, so she bought me some Buster's Paw Balm. Wow, wow, wow...it makes my pads look and feel better instantly! It feels so good, I don't even want to lick it off! She's only put it on my feet twice, but I can already notice a difference! I'm in a big city now, and if I'm going to find a cute city boyfriend, my feet must be presentable. This paw balm is definitely going to help! So fellas...line up, because this little girl has the best feet in Birmingham!

Our French Bulldog Louie would often chew at his paws. But since we've started applying Buster's Paw Balm, it has added an extra layer of protection against moistness which caused the irritating breakouts.

We purchased this for our bloodhound puppy and LOVE it! My mother has a shih tzu that had a horrible hot spot that nothing the vet prescribed would helped, so I loaned her some to try and worked like a charm! A must have and a little goes a long way due to the superb quality!

With a dog that is highly allergic to most everything, I've tried it all. Finally, with Buster's Paw Balm, I've found something chemical-free that brings relief to troubled spots. It even seems to have been effective in preventing secondary infections from scrapes due to scratching. This stuff is nothing short of magic. Thank you City Bee!
